The Greens continue to shape Innsbruck as the group with the strongest votes – acid test for Anzengruber.
Vienna (OTS) – “Many thanks to all the people who gave Georg Willi their vote and thus spoke out for a cosmopolitan, future-oriented Innsbruck, to all the supporters and to Georg Willi himself, who showed incredible commitment,” says Olga Voglauer, Secretary General of the Greens.
“And my congratulations to Johannes Anzengruber. This is now the acid test for the newly elected mayor. Will he approach the Greens and strive for a coalition that works for a future worth living in? Or does he let the right-wing extremist Freedom Party take control. Full throttle towards the past,” says Voglauer.
“In any case, the Greens are the party with the largest number of votes in the local council. And they will use the next legislative period to help shape this wonderful city. As a loud voice for climate protection and against right-wing agitation. For a green, livable Innsbruck,” says Voglauer.
