Green Federal Congress – Federal Executive Board with many new faces
Vienna (OTS) –

The Green Federal Congress also chose a new federal party executive after the election of the new Federal Spokeswoman. The Upper Austrian Greens boss and State Councilor Stefan Kainededer was again elected to the committee. All other members are newly represented on the committee: Former Minister of Justice and deputy club chairwoman Alma Zadić, Vienna Greens chairman Peter Kraus, the Tyrolean Member of the National Council Barbara Neßler and the head of the Lower Austrian Greens, Helga Krismer. Bernhard Seitz, deputy district manager of the Viennese Leopoldstadt, will also be a federal finance officer in the future. The federal board was elected for three years.

The newly elected federal spokeswoman of the Greens, Leonore Gewessler, congratulated the new federal board member to choose: “We have a lot of work ahead of us in the next three years: We want to set up the party more. We will find new, better answers for the economy, for our security, in education and in climate protection. And we want to win elections because it needs a strong, green voice in this country. As a greens, I look forward to working with this great team as a green man.
