For the 22nd time, the supported by the EU Commission calls Safer Internet Day for safe and responsible behavior on the Internet: On February 11, the international day of action will take place under the motto “Together for a Better Internet”. As part of the initiative, Google and YouTube Austria together with Austrian creators provide information about online security with the support of Gemini and Google Ki tools.
As a long -time companion of the Safer Internet Day, Google and YouTube Austria provide educational work on digital dangers and safe cooperation online. In order to sensitize children and adolescents in particular to the topic of internet security, the cooperation with YouTuber is based on collaboration with ranges of up to several million subscribers: inside. Seven Austrian creators have created YouTube shorts videos in which they give valuable tips and tricks for safe handling on the Internet. Among other things, they show how users can protect themselves from phishing, how to recognize AI-generated images and which Google tools can be used.
The following YouTube shorts videos were designed for the Safer Internet Day 2025. Google like Gemini or Google Lens were used.
