There is a change in the board of directors at Partner Bank, which has been in preparation for some time. As of December 1, 2024, Thomas Üblacker (36) will be appointed to the Board of Directors of Partner Bank. Andreas Fellner, who has carefully and far-sightedly led and shaped Partner Bank for over 20 years, has been preparing for this generational change over the last few years. Andreas Fellner – now 60 years old – will now focus fully on process optimization at Partner Bank and will play a leading role in shaping and driving forward the Linz bank’s technology.
“I am pleased that with this generational change we will maintain and further expand our digital orientation. Partner Bank is a bank that wants to support personal advice digitally in the best possible way,” says Andreas Fellner.
After studying business informatics, Thomas Üblacker worked in the banking and insurance sectors, among others, and has extensive experience in the areas of innovation, digitalization and business development. Thomas Üblacker has been working at Partner Bank as Chief Innovation Officer since 2020 and as Head of IT since 2021. New tasks on the board await him from December.
“Our goal is to further expand our bank’s core assets – asset management and investment advice for a broad investor audience – through increased use of digital solutions.
There are around 20 IT experts in the team who are constantly working on the digitization of specific training and further education modules for their consultants. In order to support our customers and financial advisors accordingly, our focus is on personal advice in conjunction with digitalized processes, says future board member Thomas Üblacker.
