Neos General Secretary Douglas Hoyos congratulates Neos Styria on the historical best result in municipal council elections. “The fact that we have achieved more than twice as many mandates in Styria today is a sensational success. A big thank you to all voters who gave us their trust, and to the many candidates who have fought so much with so much passion and commitment that there are more neos municipal councilors in the future in Styria.”

The result in Ramsau is particularly gratifying, where NEOS achieved sensational 34 percent and have become the second strongest force in a municipality for the first time. Hoyos: “This is the fifth choice in a row, in which we have been able to gain in the previous year. This clearly shows: People want change, also in their communities – they want a policy that is transparent and courageous and responsible for tax money. We NEOS stand for brave reforms and transparent community policy and will continue to go to the needs of people and the future of the communities.”
