Energy Minister Leonore Gewessler (Greens) wants to examine the options for exiting the gas supply contracts between OMV and the Russian Gazprom. To this end, the economic research institute Wifo, on behalf of the Ministry of Energy, will examine the economic effects of a contract termination and the dangers of prolonged dependence on Russian energy by the summer Gas analyze, Gewessler announced at a press conference on Monday.
