Game – Set – Match: Kitzbühel relies on Padel

Padel, the fastest growing trend sport worldwide, has now also found a home in Kitzbühel: two state-of-the-art outdoor paddels are now available on the Reither Wiese. Kitzbühel Tourismus offers all sports enthusiasts – locals and guests – a new way to experience games, fun and sporting challenge in the open air.

Dr. Christian Harisch, chairman of Kitzbühel Tourismus, is happy about the new offer and sees another sporty highlight in Kitzbühel in the opening of the paddle facility. Padel, a mixture of tennis and squash, is easy to learn, promote fitness and coordination and is usually played in doubles. From Wednesday, August 13, 2025, the new paddle system will be open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The offer is aimed at everyone – from sporting beginners to experienced players. Bookings are possible exclusively via the PlayTomic app-fast, simple and around the clock-and take place according to the “First Comes-First-served” principle. Backers can be loaned on site in the Lisi Family Hotel and at Intersport Kitzsport on Jochberger Straße.
