Following the rookie course Prim. Dr. Klaus Katzensteiner together with Univ.-Prof.-Doz. Prim. Dr. Tobias Gotterbarmhead of the Kepler University Clinic for Orthopedics and Traumatology and Prim. Univ.-Doz. Dr. Andreas ShamiyehChairman of the Kepler University Clinic for General Surgery and Visceral Surgery and President of the Medical Society for Upper Austria, brought together the numerous interested parties cross-competency seminar evening.

Various topics were presented and discussed. Dr. Gustav Schmöllerspecialist in orthopedics and traumatology at the UHK Linz, started with “The unstable kneecap – state of the art of care” It continued with Dr. Wolfgang Werner Tutschkuspecialist in trauma surgery in Linz, about “The treatment of the complex radius head fracture” Dr. Christian Fadingerspecialist in anesthesiology and intensive care medicine at the UKH Linz – gave a lecture under the title: “When nerves hurt – CRPS, phantom pain and other nasties”.
