Photovoltaic systems at a glance
Vienna/Bregenz (OTS) –
In recent years, photovoltaics in Austria have experienced a real boom. In the previous year alone, funding agreements were concluded in the form of investment grants for newly built PV systems with an output of more than 2,800 megawatts and a storage volume of around 995 megawatt hours.
The actual expansion of the photovoltaic systems is visualized in an interactive funding atlas and is available to you via our website available. Using a user-friendly menu, you can choose whether you want to view only OeMAG (data status 10/23), only climate and energy funds (data status 08/23) or both together. The choice between number and performance is also possible. Additional information and detailed analyzes are available in the “Data Analysis” menu item.
Data for regional reporting
With this interactive funding atlas you can easily understand the distribution of photovoltaic systems by region and track down developments and trends. The data supports your regional reporting, say OeMAG board members Horst Brandlmaier and Gerhard Röthlin: “Our goal with this service is to offer you an overview of the expansion of renewable energies in Austria and thus make a contribution to a more sustainable energy future.”
Bernd Vogl, Managing Director of the Climate and Energy Fund: “The photovoltaic maps illustrate the trend towards increased use of renewable and clean energy. More and more people are recognizing this and relying on the power of the sun!”
We are happy to provide you with further information and invite you to deepen your reporting on the rapid development of photovoltaics in Austria.
