The technology talks on September 12th and 13th in the MuseumsQuartier Vienna will bring together more than 700 people from science, business, industry and the public sector to discuss the future role of research, technology and innovations.
The Technology Talks Austria will begin in a week and – after 40 successful years in Alpbach – will now take place in Vienna for the first time. On September 12th and 13th, 2024, the Vienna MuseumsQuartier will become a veritable campus for research, technology and innovation. In a contemporary mix of plenary events and workshops, which are held together with numerous partners, the focus is on the role of research, technology and innovation in the “triple transition” – i.e. the transformation of the economy in a sustainable, digital and humane way . More than 700 registered people will have meaningful and exciting debates with over 80 internationally renowned speakers.
The Technology Talks Austria are organized by the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology in close cooperation with the Federal Ministry for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology (BMK), the Federal Ministry of Labor and Economic Affairs (BMAW), and the Federal Ministry of Education and Science and Research (BMBWF), the Research Promotion Agency (FFG) and the Industrial Association (IV). Over 40 additional partners from the technology community and the public sector are involved in organizing eight plenary sessions, twelve workshops, an exhibition and several side events.
