Vienna (OTS) From the cult of female athletes and singers to the hype surrounding trendy sneakers – ORF 1 will show exciting documentaries on current topics as ORF premieres every Wednesday from 8:15 p.m. from July 10th to 24th, 2024. The program includes reports about the diet of the future, the most expensive sneakers in the world, Taylor Swift’s career path and Whitney Houston’s final hours, as well as a TV portrait about the tennis wonders Venus and Serena Williams or the incredible story of an impostor, that fooled banks and celebrities for years.

“World without meat? The Nutrition of the Future” (Wednesday, July 10th, 8:15 p.m., ORF 1 and ORF ON)

Human meat consumption has not only been discussed since yesterday. The harmful effects of livestock farming on the environment and climate are often used as an argument for restricting meat as a staple food. Is the future of nutrition meatless? How can sufficient protein intake still be ensured? The German report from 2023 by Benoîte Jumeaux presents the possible future of meat consumption.

The two sisters broke all records in doubles and singles and Serena in particular dominated the world’s top tennis for a long time.
