From the community – for the citizens. FPÖ Lower Austria is building on site

At today’s Annual General Meeting of the Freedom Community Representative Association of Lower Austria (GVV Lower Austria) in the Dürnrohr power plant, the FPÖ communal spokesman LAbg. Dieter Dorner was elected as the new association chairman with strong approval of 90.40 percent and thus takes over from Hannes Böck, who has been preserved to the GVV as a board member. Before 365 Freedom Delegate, the focus was on one: the people in the communities and the clear freedom of design. “Our goal is clear: in 2030 we want to be anchored in even more communities – stronger, more visible and take responsibility for our compatriots,” said Dorner. Mayor NABG. Werner Herbert and the second president of the Lower Austrian Landtag, City Councilor Gottfried Waldhäusl, were elected deputy chairman.

FPÖ state party chairman LH deputy Udo Landbauer emphasized in his speech that the strength of the FPÖ comes from the grassroots: “You are all the power plant of the freedom party, the engines of our movement, which ensure that politics is made for citizens and not against them. The Lower Austrians have strengthened our backs in all past elections, the political turnaround to start! “

With increasing responsibility, the free handwriting is becoming increasingly noticeable for people. The result of the 2025 municipal council election described Landbauer as a “historical departure of a system that has been stowed over decades”. “The Lower Austrians have changed the political map significantly for the positive,” Landbauer recalls the gains of 832 mandates, an increase of over 6 percent in 200 municipalities, a whopping gains of over 10 percent in 76 municipalities and for the first time first place in the municipalities of Enzersdorf an der Fischa, Pernitz and Lassee. “Today we put four mayors and show that the freedoms in Lower Austria also do justice to this responsibility. This is the harvest that you can only get in if you work hard, well and reliably. We have created a strong freedom foundation and are now a serious factor in local politics.”

Landbauer, among other things, cited the freedom mayor Werner Herbert and Dietmar Ruf as historical milestone, “which are exactly what you expect from a mayor, namely strong partners for the population”.

The criticism of the federal government was clear. Landbauer called the current situation “a divided and dirty game” and accused the ÖVP to rely exclusively on power support instead of reforms: “It is not about the population, it’s all about posting. It is a” More of the Same ” – only much worse.”

Landbauer contrasts the liberal counter -model in Lower Austria: “We implement what we have promised people. We do politics with reason and common sense.”

He recalled concrete measures from the labor agreement for Lower Austria:

  • The introduction of the non -cash benefit for asylum seekers,

  • The abolition of the ORF state levy (41 million euros in discharge),

  • the care check of 1,000 euros for domestic care,

  • The innkeeper to revitalize regional gastronomy,

  • and the end of gender policy and wokeness

“In Lower Austria, we clearly showed that it makes a difference, who is ruled and how it is governed. For the future, one thing is certain if we want to tear the rudder around, if we want to have the big thrust reversal towards politics for the citizens and not against citizens, that means rolling up the sleeves, making freedom politics and gaining on all levels.”

With the election from Dieter Dorner as GVV chairman, the FPÖ Lower Austria wants to continue its successful course in the communities. The aim is to significantly increase the number of freedom mayors by 2030 and to further consolidate the local political anchorage.

“People in our communities do not expect prestige projects for mayors, but concrete help, reliability and handshake. It is about safe roads, good quality of life, a local supply that does not die – and that politics finally takes care of those who carry our country again,” says the newly elected association chairman.

Dorner announced that the GVV NÖ to make the strong voice for the concerns of the citizens: “At a time when the federal government lets up rural areas, communities that dare and a party that listens, tackles and implement. This is exactly what we will do: where help is needed.
