Fresh momentum in the Austrian Convention Bureau: Three new members and further training enrich the Austrian conference industry |  ACB

Vienna (OTS) The Austrian Convention Bureau (ACB), the nationwide voice of the Austrian congress and meetings industry, is pleased to announce the addition of three new members: the event hotel Pyramide, the Lechwelten event location and the RAM Consulting agency. These new additions bring a breath of fresh air and strengthen the expertise within the association, making the Austrian meeting industry even more attractive and visible.

The Eventhotel Pyramide in the south of Vienna, known for its extensive event options, joins the ACB, bringing a promise of flexibility and convenience “under one roof”. The combination of 460 modern hotel rooms and over 20 event areas form the basis for conferences, training courses, seminars and other events.

The Vorarlberg event location opening in June 2024 Lech worlds, is characterized by its unique combination of modern architecture and natural surroundings. The heart of the Lechwelten is the multifunctional hall, which offers seating for up to 600 participants. With its innovative concept of days in the mountains, this unique location aims to set new standards for events that seamlessly combine relaxation and work.

RAM Consulting, under the leadership of the experienced meeting expert Renate Androsch-Holzer, expands the spectrum of the ACB to include valuable specialist knowledge in the administration of scientific and business-oriented associations. The agency brings in its many years of international experience and supports associations in positioning themselves strategically and successfully.

ACB President Gerhard Stübe warmly welcomes the new companies on behalf of the board: “I am very pleased for the association that its meaningful work is recognized, among other things, by the fact that new members still want to actively participate in the further development of Austria as a conference location“.

The ACB is committed to an active industry network and the development and transfer of knowledge. In 2024, the association started the year with numerous activities, including its own training series as a special highlight ACB know.how with the focus on “AI skills for the conference industry”, which is also at the annual conference Convention4u from 1st to 3rd July will play a key role in the Linz Commercial Association.

The association organizes its activities to promote skilled workers „Beginners Lounge“ on April 5th in the Hofburg Vienna, where new employees of conference companies will gain an insight into the complex world of congresses and meetings. “We are looking forward to this popular format for the first time in 2024 for newcomers from non-member companies to open“, reports ACB managing director Michaela Schedlbauer-Zippusch.
