FPÖ – Steger to Lena Schilling: “Empty words and little constructive” | Freedom Parliamentary Club

Vienna (OTS) The liberal European spokesperson and EU candidate NAbg was not surprised today. Petra Steger on the appearance of the Green top candidate for the EU elections Lena Schilling in today’s ORF press hour. “There was little to hear apart from the usual left-green platitudes. “The dance ranged from the usual envy debate with a ban on private jets, to an increase in the CO2 tax, to asylum for ‘climate refugees’ and a Europe-wide redistribution of those requesting asylum,” said Steger.

As a representative of “climate bolshevism,” Schilling and her fantasies represent the destruction of European competitiveness. “This ‘climate policy’ is in reality nothing more than a program to deindustrialize Europe and a program to promote the economy of the USA, China and the world, but has no positive impact on global CO2 emissions or the climate. On the contrary, the European economy is being destroyed, consumption is being relocated to third countries where production is much more emissions-producing and at the same time our prosperity is being gradually destroyed,” emphasized Steger and continued: “Even with her support for a European asylum system, she fits seamlessly into that A number of parties that stand for a gradual transfer of competences to the EU and thus an erosion of our sovereignty. The fact that she still hasn’t understood that distributing refugees doesn’t work shows her ignorance. Schilling is not only endangering our standard of living, but also our security with her commitment to illegal migration. “Open borders and refugee distribution do not prevent deaths; on the contrary, they drive even more asylum seekers into the arms of smugglers.”

The construction site occupier Schilling, who is increasingly losing ground and sympathy among her climate hysterics, is also igniting with her statements against her own party and the black coalition partner ÖVP. According to her, the ÖVP blocked the Greens’ climate strategy. “It’s also funny that Schilling wants to continue to criticize the Greens, her own party. Apart from empty phrases, there was little constructive to be heard. If you want to vote in the European Parliament for arms deliveries to Ukraine, it is of little use if you continually emphasize that you stand for Austria’s neutrality,” added Steger.
