FPÖ – Nepp/Seidl: False tender for the board of directors of the Vienna Health Association must be stopped

The health spokesman for the Vienna FPÖ LAbg. Wolfgang Seidl is calling for a stop to the fictitious tenders for the general director and the finance director in the Vienna Health Association (WiGeV). “General Director Kölldorfer-Leitgeb and Finance Director Wetzlinger have been on an interim basis for many years and the positions should have been advertised back then. “Now we are trying to officially extend these two tenders,” said Seidl, referring to a report in the Kronenzeitung today.

“This health association needs professionals in health management and not dilettantes who – as required in the tender – only “gender and “Demonstrate diversity competence”. A lack of doctors, nurses and other medical staff in the community hospitals, countless reports of danger, strikes by committed and exhausted employees, overcrowded outpatient clinics, corridor beds and bed and ward closures, months of waiting for urgently needed operations are just a few examples of the disastrous situation. Every single one of these points would be enough in any other city to throw out those responsible – including City Councilor Hacker. In Vienna, the incompetent red minions are rewarded with these positions, which are worth more than 20,000 euros per month,” said Vienna FPÖ chairman City Councilor Dominik Nepp, who is calling on Mayor Ludwig to fill the board of directors with real health experts.

FPÖ health spokesman Seidl demands a hearing of all applicants in the local council health committee. “It cannot be the case that a set-up game is taking place here at the expense of the health of the Viennese population.”
