Vienna’s education system is on the verge of collapse – ÖVP should enable a motion of no confidence against the incompetent pink deputy mayor
Vienna (OTS) – The Vienna FPÖ leader, city councilor Dominik Nepp, and club chairman Maximilian Krauss are demanding the immediate resignation of Neos education councilor Christoph Wiederkehr. “Now that education expert Andreas Salcher says that schools are out of control and that brute force and cyberbullying are the order of the day and that teachers are completely overwhelmed, the emergency brake must be pulled immediately. More and more students, teachers and parents are despairing because of the mass family reunification with thousands of Syrian young people, most of whom are illiterate and end up in the social system straight after school. Wiederkehr remains completely inactive and is at the diving station. The incompetent Neos city council must therefore leave office immediately before this situation gets even worse,” said Nepp and Krauss.
The FPÖ politicians are calling on the Vienna ÖVP to support a motion of no confidence against Wiederkehr at the next meeting of the Vienna City Council. “Karl Mahrer and Co. must finally show their colors whether they want to end the madness in the city with active opposition politics and achieve improvements in Vienna’s schools, or whether they want to continue to pander to the red-pink coalition.”
Nepp and Krauss reiterate their demand for an immediate stop to this family reunification in Vienna. “If even education expert Salcher now warns about conditions like those in Sweden, where the military is already being deployed against migrant gangs, then there really is a fire at the roof. The Ludwig SPÖ and their pink coalition sidecar are ruining the future of our Viennese children and young people with their welcoming policy. This madness must be stopped immediately before it is finally too late.” (Conclusion)
