FPÖ – Nepp: Budget dispute between Hacker and Hanke escalates
Vienna (OTS) –

After the increase in the budget for Vienna’s minimum income by an incredible 215 million euros for 2024, which was announced via Kronen Zeitung, the budget dispute between SPÖ Social Councilor Hacker and SPÖ Finance Councilor Hanke is also escalating. Hacker says: “A billion euros for the minimum security doesn’t scare me.” Hanke says: “A billion euros for the minimum security does scare me.”

FPÖ leader Councilor Dominik Nepp: “While Councilor Hanke obviously recognizes the dramatic situation and openly opposes his party colleague Hacker, he remains stubborn and prepotent in his usual way. Hacker against Hanke is becoming more and more like Simmering against Kapfenberg.”

In view of the generally devastating budget situation in Vienna (debt level of 16.5 billion euros including the outsourced companies), Nepp is calling on SPÖ Mayor Ludwig to intervene and clearly side with his financial city council. “Hacker has led both the social and health systems into the abyss with his catastrophic policies. Hacker is the worst, most incompetent city councilor this country has ever seen. He has to leave his office immediately,” affirms the Viennese FPÖ chairman. (Ending)
