FPÖ-LR rosary: no millions for integration experiments
St. Pölten (ots) –

“The labor market service is responsible for the mediation of workers-not for expensive integration experiments,” clarifies Mag. Susanne Rosenkranz. “People have been talked to people since 2015, the mass immigration would solve the shortage of skilled workers. Today we know: that was a political margin. Reality is a steadily growing proportion of unemployed foreigners and a massive burden of our welfare state.”

According to current AMS numbers, almost 42 percent of all unemployed in Austria are already foreign nationals-and the trend is rising. The situation for young Syrians and Afghans is particularly alarming: 45.4 and 32.5 percent are without a job, despite the millions of promotion in integration projects. “These people were brought into the country with the promise that they would be needed immediately on the job market. Now we see: Many have neither sufficient knowledge of German nor have the necessary training. Instead of gaining skilled workers, the federal government has created a growing social problem.”

The 100-million euro integration package planned by the AMS is the wrong way for rosary: “As early as 2024, 75 million euros in German courses and basic education of the foreigners-with sobering balance sheet: of over 3,300 participants, only 145 actually found work. This is not only a miserable success rate, but also a slim into the face of all those projects that have to finance these projects.”

“The AMS is not responsible for integration measures, but should convey trained workers. It is also successful here,” says Rosenkranz and calls for an end to these “alibi measures”: “The Federal Government must no longer pump tax million in programs that do not bring sustainable integration into the labor market, but only lead to permanent employment in training measures.” The money is better off elsewhere.

For Rosary it is clear: “Before even a single other immigrant is brought into the country, we have to ensure that domestic unemployed people – especially our young people – come back into employment. This is not only a question of reason, but also of respect for our compatriots who have paid into our system for decades.”

The State Councilor sees the role of Vienna particularly critically: “The federal capital is targeting immigrants through an exuberant social system – and the other federal states have to support the follow -up costs. This is neither fair nor responsible.”

Rosenkranz concludes: “We finally have to return to a policy that our citizens clearly prioritize in the labor market and social system. Everything else is not only naive, but dangerous for social peace.”
