Pink education policy has plunged Vienna’s education system into chaos
Vienna (OTS) – “The constant promises that City Councilor Wiederkehr makes are simply worth nothing! Children who do not speak German sufficiently and are therefore unable to follow regular lessons, escalating violence, anti-Semitism and overcrowded classes are the reality in Vienna’s schools. This is where we finally need to take far-reaching measures to raise the standard in schools again. “Austrian children and teachers are currently despairing because normal lessons are no longer possible,” says the Viennese FPÖ education spokesman, club chairman Maximilian Krauss.
He is finally calling for the introduction of German as a school and break language, demands that children who do not speak German sufficiently should not be included in regular classes and that foreign young people who are prone to violence should be deported. In addition, the pay of Viennese teachers must increase significantly in order to make this difficult profession attractive again. This is the only way to permanently eliminate the teacher shortage.
Krauss is certain: “We finally have to take a clear line in the school sector too. After all, this is about the education of our children. We owe it to them to stop looking the other way.”
