FPÖ – Kaniak: “Take the public prosecutor’s office seriously – patients need a close-knit network of care!” | Freedom Parliamentary Club

Vienna (OTS) The liberal health spokesman and chairman of the parliamentary health committee NAbg described it as “completely incomprehensible”. Mag. Gerhard Kaniak the fact that outpatient clinics are gradually being closed, especially those for ME/CFS and Long-Covid. “A Green Minister Rauch is responsible for this. A minister who, on the one hand, likes to spread hysterical panic and, on the other hand, then abandons the patients.”

“Austria’s patients need a close-knit and easily accessible network of general practitioners and outpatient clinics. Chronic ill patients in particular do not have the necessary strength to travel long distances for treatments and therapies. This also means that Minister Rauch has to create the framework conditions for filling the more than 200 vacant and unsubsidized cash register positions. This is his responsibility and duty, if he cannot fulfill this, we recommend that he do the same as his equally chaotic predecessors for the benefit of the citizens,” emphasized Kaniak.
