The alleged justification for Styrian files reveals the notorious ÖVP practice of intervention in the judiciary
Vienna (OTS) – “The Ministry of Justice’s refusal to deliver files requested by the ÖVP to the investigative committee is more than a resounding slap in the face for the People’s Party from its green coalition partner. It is further proof of the black abuse of power, because the ÖVP obviously wanted to order files that were not theirs in order to be able to carry out ‘dirty campaigning’,” said the FPÖ general secretary and parliamentary group leader NAbg. Christian Hafenecker and at the same time was amazed at the audacity of his ÖVP colleague Hanger not to meekly lick his wounds after this effective goal, but also to “open his mouth up to his ears”.
What is particularly explosive for Hafenecker is the alleged justification with which the ÖVP wanted to gain access to files that have nothing whatsoever to do with the state administration that is to be controlled by the U-Committee. “The ‘shoehorn’ for this was possible interventions in the judiciary. All that needs to be said is: As the rogue thinks, that’s how he is. Interventions with black ‘friends’ are a notorious practice of the ÖVP, with which they also try to eliminate the independence of the courts. As is well known, the tragically deceased section chief Pilnacek also confirmed this,” said Hafenecker.
