Vienna (OTS) – “The fact that Nehammer and his ÖVP want to increase fuel prices by artificially increasing the mineral oil tax is crazy! The next ÖVP madness at the expense of the expensive Austrians, which should finally be stopped. If reaching into the Austrians’ wallets is the only initiative of this federal government, Nehammer and Co. should take their hats off today rather than tomorrow!” said FPÖ General Secretary and transport spokesman NAbg. Christian Hafenecker, MA on today’s interview with ÖVP climate spokesman Schmuckenschlager in “DER STANDARD”.
“Without concrete counterplans, the ÖVP and the Greens want to increase fuel prices by artificially raising the mineral oil tax to the level of neighboring countries with a much lower inflation rate. That means: Austrians, whose lives are already more expensive than in surrounding countries, have to pay even more for gas while the ÖVP finance minister continues to line his pockets. This black-green climate communism at the expense of the Austrians must finally be stopped before our country finally collapses,” the Freedom Party ÖVP Chancellor Nehammer once again called on him to resign.
