Vienna (OTS) – “The ÖVP and the Greens are starting the year 2024 with a fireworks display of burdens that will make our citizens and businesses pay even more in times of disproportionately high inflation. The ‘black octopus’ continues to relentlessly reach deep into the pockets of the already suffering Austrians with green climate hysterical tax fantasies. It hits particularly hard those who rely on their vehicle to get to work – the commuters,” said the FPÖ today – Secretary General NAbg. Christian Hafenecker, MA.
“The CO2 levy will further increase the climate tax, with between 12.3 and 12.5 cents per liter of fuel being charged. But there is no end planned for this; things will continue quickly in 2025. Companies will now have to think three times about whether they will buy a new delivery van or not. “The engine-related insurance tax will also be 34.56 euros higher for many vehicles when they are newly registered in 2024,” Hafenecker listed and also emphasized that the commuter allowance is also on Green Minister Gewessler’s “hit list”.
But households would also be heavily fleeced at the turn of the year. The compulsory ORF contribution for everyone is in itself a financial treachery beyond compare. “As a bonus, the increase in the prescription fee to 7.10 euros per pack will now also cause headaches for sick people and chronically ill people,” emphasized Hafenecker.
“Wherever you look, this black-green government stands for lockdowns, compulsory vaccinations, inflation, loss of democracy, increases in levies and taxes. It’s time to finally vote out this lot of resentment and friendliness. Only an FPÖ with a People’s Chancellor Herbert Kickl will manage to end the woke horrors of the black-green coalition,” Hafenecker finished.
