Ver-BABLERUNG of the SPÖ comrades in Vienna-Margareten continues
Vienna (OTS) – “The ruling district SPÖ once again shows no sensitivity for the needs of the Margareten district population. Rather, continued political ignorance regarding the wave of crime in Vienna is being put on the agenda. After a series of crimes and violence with a migrant background have occurred throughout Vienna in the last few days and weeks – especially in our neighboring district of Favoriten – the district comrades are looking for safety. In a motion for the district council meeting on March 4, 2024 under the title ‘Security is a multi-conceptual redimensioning in Margaret’s local politics’, the Social Democrats advocate ‘a conceptual redimensioning, a responsible approach to the political concept of security without any clumsiness populism,” said FPÖ club chairman Dr. Fritz Simhandl.
“If you interpret the city and district comrades correctly, then such a red concept of security means that you can no longer discuss crimes, which are increasingly being brought into our city and district by members of the asylum seeker environment. Once again, the district SPÖ is pulling up the left-left drawbridge in its own castle mentality when confronted with the actual problems of the citizens. Motions from the FPÖ to address the growing security threat in our district are therefore repeatedly voted down by the SPÖ. Whether drug trafficking, sexual crimes against women or acts of violence, especially against other migrants and Austrians, are simply not taken seriously,” Simhandl continued.
“For the FPÖ-Margareten, this motion is a continued attack on the safety of our fellow citizens in our district. Apparently the ideological embarrassment of the district comrades in Margareten continues to progress. The victims are primarily the women, children and older people in our district, who can at any time become the number one target of this grossly negligent erosion of security, as has already been experienced in the past. Once again it shows that the FPÖ is the only political force in our district that represents and defends the middle of society. We are happy to leave the horrible fringe group ideologies to the united left-wing bloc,” concluded FPÖ district party leader Roland Guggenberger.
