Following the National Council election, which ended with the best result in history and first place for the FPÖ, the party committees met today to, on the one hand, analyze the result and, on the other hand, set the course for the next steps. In the meetings of the Federal Party Presidium and the Federal Party Executive Board, the FPÖ negotiating team was decided, which is led by FPÖ federal party chairman Herbert Kickl. The other members are the two General Secretaries NAbg. Michael Schnedlitz and NAbg. Christian Hafenecker, FPÖ club director Norbert Nemeth, FPÖ foreign policy and neutrality spokeswoman NAbg. Susanne Fürst as well as FPÖ economic expert Arnold Schiefer and FPÖ-NÖ club chairman LAbg. Reinhard Teufel.
FPÖ federal party chairman NAbg. Herbert Kickl: “This team covers all areas of content that are important for the future of our country. With this strong delegation, I am confident that I can ensure the voters’ clear mandate for change for five good years – so that Sunday’s ‘blue miracle’ can become a red-white-red miracle for the Austrians.”
The recommendation to elect FPÖ federal party chairman Herbert Kickl as club chairman of the Freedom Parliamentary Club was also unanimously approved.
