Citizens have had enough of the government’s burdensome policies
Klagenfurt (OTS) – According to today’s announcement by SPÖ finance officer LHStv. Gaby Schaunig for a rapid introduction of the vacancy tax in Carinthia, the Carinthian FPÖ boss club chairman Erwin Angerer massively criticized the red-black tax policy. “Because of the SPÖ and ÖVP, the state of Carinthia’s debts are exploding, the municipalities are facing financial ruin, many citizens can no longer afford daily life due to the price explosions and the economy is groaning under the ever-worsening local conditions. But the SPÖ finance officer can’t think of anything other than inventing even more new taxes! Speed in necessary reforms and savings for ourselves would be the order of the day and not more taxes and burdens for the citizens,” said Angerer, who accuses Schaunig of a complete denial of reality.
“The SPÖ-ÖVP state government is failing to reduce administration and the urgently needed reduction in bureaucracy, but is instead creating new departments and even more positions for itself! The hard-working taxpayers have to pay for all of this,” criticizes the FPÖ leader. A new vacancy tax is a complete bureaucratic monster with no positive effects on people and does not solve any problems. Austria is already at the top of the EU when it comes to taxes and duties.
“SPÖ and ÖVP only want to distract from their total failure in housing policy and their recent housing dispute! The FPÖ has repeatedly called for the implementation of a housing package in the Carinthian state parliament that includes a home ownership offensive and a rental apartment offensive. But red and black have rejected all of our initiatives and are therefore to blame for the housing shortage,” emphasizes Angerer and states: “We have the worst government of all time, not only in Vienna, but also in Carinthia!”
