FPÖ Angerer on child care: “Citizens expect solutions, instead of arguments and blame!”

Skirmishes between the Carinthian SPÖ and the Chamber of Commerce are intended to distract from the country’s enormous problems – FPÖ demands family check

Klagenfurt (OTS) “Instead of pulling together on childcare, the Carinthian SPÖ is staging a dispute with the Chamber of Commerce. The same SPÖ that always emphasizes how excellently they work together with the social partners. There were elections in Carinthia last year and we don’t have an election campaign – people now expect joint work and solutions for Carinthia, instead of arguments,” says FPÖ boss club chairman Erwin Angerer, criticizing the conflict and the mutual blame game between the SPÖ and the Chamber of Commerce.

“Obviously the aim of such skirmishes is to distract from the enormous problems and the inaction of the SPÖ-ÖVP state government. “This ranges from record inflation, which is massively affecting all citizens and companies, to the country’s record debts, the shortage of doctors and nursing staff, right up to childcare, where, despite years of promises from the SPÖ, there is still no real free kindergarten,” emphasizes Angerer. He refers to the FPÖ demand for a family check. “We need this financial support for families who want to take care of childcare themselves at home in the first few years. We demand freedom of choice when it comes to child care, instead of ideological blinders and mutual blame,” said the FPÖ leader.
