Kicking off on December 28th with the Oberstdorf qualification, the women will compete in competitions in Garmisch, Oberstdorf and Villach at the same time
Vienna (OTS) – The traditional Four Hills Tournament on ORF is probably dominated by the international battle between Austria and Germany – the results so far do not allow any other conclusion. Stefan Kraft is one of the absolute favorites for the ÖSV Eagles with five World Cup victories this year. Germany has started its season stronger than it has for years with Andreas Wellinger, Pius Paschke and Karl Geiger, among others. And that means things will be particularly exciting for ski jumping fans on ORF from December 28th. In addition to the men, the women will also complete four competitions live on ORF 1, which will take them to Garmisch, Oberstdorf and then twice to Villach from December 30th.
The tour-certified ORF experts are at work for the men: Michael Roscher and Martin Koch, Boris Kastner-Jirka and Andi Goldberger commentate, Karoline Rath-Zobernig conducts the interviews. Toni Oberndorfer will comment on the women’s jumping, together with the youngest addition to the ORF team of experts – Daniela Iraschko-Stolz. As part of the tour reporting on Garmisch, a special (and rare) guest is expected in the ORF studio: Gregor Schlierenzauer.
Martin Koch has ended his career as a camera jumper. Instead of him, 24-year-old Maximilian Lienher, who recently won the FIS Cup, will walk across the Bakken with a camera at the competitions in Austria.
