According to Geosphere Austria, the summer of recent years are among the warmest in the long -term measurement history. The summer months were also characterized by several very long heat waves. With the progressive climate change, both the number of heat days as well as the intensity and duration of the heat waves will increase. Heat already affects the health and well -being of people and represents one of the greatest health risks through climate change in Austria.
The “Forum Heat & Health 2025”, organized by the Federal Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, Health, Health, Care and Consumer Protection together with Health Austria GmbH, invites experts from a wide variety of specializations on the content of the content and discussion on the topics of heat, health effects and prevention measures.
