How balanced is my favorite product really? What is behind the Nutri score, and why do we call for a legal basis for use in Austria? On Wednesday, June 18, from 1 p.m., Foodwatch Austria invites you to an interactive information campaign on Mariahilfer Straße in Vienna.
Consumer: an exciting offer awaits inside to playfully deal with the Nutri score. With a specially developed online tool, the nutritional labeling for products on site can be calculated. Our experts are available for all questions-from the benefit of the Nutri scores to the right reading of the labeling to the new, improved algorithm. While many EU countries have long been using the traffic light system, products in Austria must not be awarded the Nutri score. Foodwatch demands the rapid creation of a legal framework from the federal government that enables voluntary use for manufacturers.
