Singer Nik P. provided a musical foretaste.

Werner Herics, regional director of ORF-Burgenland: “We are very pleased that the ‘Starnacht am Neusiedler See’ is taking place again this year. We will provide extensive coverage of the show and broadcast interviews with the stars in all of our programs. Hits from stars like Al Bano, Nik P. and Maite Kelly are part of Radio Burgenland’s music program.”

Florian Illich, ORF broadcast manager: “For the third time in a row, the ‘Star Night at Lake Neusiedl’ is taking place on the lake stage in Mörbisch. This means that the summer open-air music show kick-off there has become a tradition. Every year in a different spectacular stage setting, like this year with the skyline of London for the musical ‘My Fair Lady’, which means that the ‘Star Night on Lake Neusiedl’ creates a completely new backdrop and atmosphere in addition to the existing ambience of the lake stage. Filled with life by numerous hits and evergreens from pop and pop stars as well as of course with newcomers who we accompany with the format. I’m really looking forward to this unique open-air evening. Sequel follows!”

Martin Ramusch, ipImedia owner: “I am very pleased that Al Bano is there in Burgenland, he was one of the first artists in the early days of ‘Starnacht’. The fact that we are able to celebrate the 25th anniversary of ‘Starnacht’ this year is something very special for me. I am grateful that we are able to work with such great partners like the ORF, the state of Burgenland and our sponsors. A project of this dimension can only be achieved together.”

Didi Tunkel, Managing Director of Burgenland Tourism: “The ‘Star Night at Lake Neusiedl’ attracts numerous spectators as a crowd puller and major media event. The images of the unique scenery, which are broadcast in our main markets of Austria and Germany, are of inestimable value for the tourism region of Burgenland. With an audience of millions and as one of the most popular TV shows in Austria, whose appeal extends beyond Austria’s borders, ‘Starnacht’ inspires people of all ages and contributes significantly to the added value of our region.”

Bettina Zentgraf, Mayor of Mörbisch: “We are very pleased that the ‘Star Night’ is our guest in Mörbisch and that the lake stage is also used outside of the main season. The ‘Star Night’ delivers the most beautiful images of Lake Neusiedl and Mörbisch directly to the homes of an audience of millions in Austria and Germany. And of course that’s a great advertisement for the region.”

Alfons Haider, General Director of the Mörbisch Lake Festival: “We are really looking forward to the ‘Star Night’ and I personally am looking forward to Barbara Schöneberger. I’m also happy to see my young successor Hans Sigl. We will also be represented on the ‘Starnacht’ stage with a show act from ‘Mamma Mia’ and a short banter with Barbara is also planned.”
