The audio fair in Vienna’s ACV awakens anticipation for the HIGH END Vienna 2026
The FINEST AUDIO SHOW Vienna 2024 last weekend was a considerable success for exhibitors, visitors and organizers and proved to be a popular trade fair event for the second time in a row at the Austria Center Vienna (ACV). Around 4,000 visitors experienced excellent sound and audio technology at its best in a relaxed atmosphere. The Austrian audio trade fair organized by HIGH END SOCIETY Service GmbH is thus casting its shadow over the first HIGH END Vienna next year.
International flair in the Austrian music city
More than 50 companies from Austria, Germany and neighboring countries were represented at the audio trade fair to present their new products and get people interested in music and technology excited about their products. In the attractive rooms of the ACV, they presented their high-quality equipment for sophisticated music enjoyment over two days of the trade fair. An impressive portfolio of proven and innovative audio technology from more than 300 brands was on display. In addition to the well-known premium manufacturers, the smaller labels also received a lot of attention. The exhibitors were consistently satisfied with the course of the trade fair, which was characterized by well-attended demonstrations and promising consultations. They particularly appreciated the professional organization as well as the modern and spacious exhibition areas in the Austria Center Vienna. The central location of the recently renovated event center also offered optimal conditions for the trade fair and ensured that everything ran smoothly.
Successful test run for the first HIGH END in Vienna
Stefan Dreischärf, Managing Director of HIGH END SOCIETY Service GmbH, assesses the success of the event particularly with a view to the international audio trade fair HIGH END, which is moving from Munich to Vienna in 2026. “After the successful start of the FINEST AUDIO SHOW Vienna last year, we are happy that the Austria Center Vienna was once again able to prove itself as the ideal platform for our audio trade fairs,” said the trade fair boss. “For us, this trade fair was also a dress rehearsal for the HIGH END, which showed that the conditions in the ACV are ideally suited to our requirements and that we have a professional partner at our side here, as before in Munich.” Last weekend, not only the companies participating in the FINEST AUDIO SHOW Vienna were able to convince themselves of the advantages of the location. Numerous regular HIGH END exhibitors also traveled from home and abroad to visit the Austria Center Vienna and plan their trade fair appearance at the first HIGH END Vienna the year after next.
Enthusiastic mood and positive signals for the future
The pleasing number of visitors and the high level of satisfaction reflect the ongoing interest in high-quality music reproduction and in experiential trade fair events. The audience was enthusiastic about the numerous demonstrations, where they were able to enjoy speakers, amplifiers and streaming devices in direct comparison. A consistently high number of visitors and a varied supporting program with workshops and lectures created an atmosphere in which audiophiles and music lovers got their money’s worth throughout the weekend. There was also a positive development in the composition of the audience: In addition to the well-known hi-fi enthusiasts and audiophiles, the trade fair attracted many young people, couples and families. A trend that underlines both the diversity and attractiveness of the offering and further strengthens the organizer’s goal of making audio technology accessible to a wider audience.
The successful course of the FINEST AUDIO SHOW Vienna sends a positive signal for the future of the audio industry, which can reach new target groups with innovative ideas and proven concepts and make listening to music an experience for young and old.
