Vienna (OTS) – On March 1, 2024, the takeover of med-serv gmbh by the domestic facility services market leader ISS Austria was sealed. The service provider med-serv, which operates in the healthcare sector, will remain in the ISS network as an independent brand with all 234 employees. The new managing directors are CEO Erich Steinreiber and Head of Healthcare Daniela Mizerovsky from ISS Austria.
Med-serv has specialized in holistic infrastructural facility management in healthcare facilities such as hospitals, rehabilitation clinics and nursing homes in Lower Austria and Styria for several years. “For us, the takeover is an excellent opportunity to strategically expand on the long-standing success in the ISS Healthcare segment and to further drive growth in Austria with the acquired customer portfolio

Even before the purchase of med-serv, ISS looked after around 6,000 beds a day throughout Austria with around 1,600 (in the future approx. 1,850) highly trained ISS Healthcare employees. The ISS customer portfolio includes numerous long-standing healthcare providers, including the largest hospitals in Vienna and Graz, nursing homes and rescue organizations.
