Austria is very aware of its responsibility towards the victims of National Socialism. This renewed support is a crucial step that shows that we as a society are determined not to suppress the darkest chapter of our history, but to actively remember it. Especially in times of rising anti-Semitism worldwide, it is more important than ever to listen to the Nazi survivors and live up to our responsibilities.”
