“Motorists should bring a lot of patience today,” reported ÖAMTC masculine supervisor Florian Thaler on Saturday from the Tauern Autobahn (A10). The wave of travel from Bavaria has caused a traffic jam from the Walserberg border crossing since the morning hours. In the Greater Salzburg area, traffic around the A1-A10 motorway junction stalled. In front of the Tauern tunnel, traffic was regulated by blocking it. Here, too, the traffic jam went back about 10 kilometers. Further south you lost a good hour in front of the Karawankentunnel. The traffic jam situation remained constant at 9:00 a.m.
ZTl.: Fernpass route and Brenner with heavy travel
In Tyrol there was a viscous traffic On the Brenner motorway (A13) you lost about half an hour in the morning. In the meantime, the dense column traffic is running viscously.

At the Slovenian-Croatian border crossing Macelj, the ÖAMTC mobility information registered 20 kilometers of traffic jam. Longer delays also had to expect drivers in the Zagreb area.
The journey to the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Budapest was still without longer delays. On several construction site sections of the Hungarian M1, traffic was only slowly slowed down.
