The roadway to the passage of Zöbern in the course of the state roads L 137 and L 4181 was renewed over a length of around 900 meters. The lanes of the state roads L 137 and L 4181 in the area of the town area of Zöbern corresponded to today’s modern traffic requirements because of their age and the lane damage (ripping, flaps, lane unevenness, etc.). For these reasons, the Lower Austria road service has decided to renovate the L 137 in the area between the Gasthaus Gansterer up to about 100 meters after the local area from Zöbern towards Zöberner Au and the L 4181 from the intersection with the L 137 over a length of 280 meters towards the blow.
On an entire area of 6,000 square meters while maintaining the existing road widths after the milling work, a six centimeter thick bituminous base layer and a three -centimeter thick bituminous cover layer were applied to the two regional roads L 137 and L 4181. The Granit company from Graz carried out the work in a one -week construction period. The cost of around 250,000 euros was borne by the state of Lower Austria.
