Rottenbach (OTS) – Like every year, the renowned Reichersberg Environmental Day took place this spring, once again organized by the VTA company. This important event, which took place on March 14, 2024 in the historic ambience of Reichersberg Abbey, attracted 280 experts and interested parties from the field of environmental technology and wastewater treatment.
The ceremonial opening of the Environmental Day was carried out by Ing. Mag. Dr. hc Ulrich Kubinger, who, together with guests of honor such as the mayor Bernhard Öttl of the market town of Reichersberg and the provost of the monastery, MMag. Markus Stefan Grasl, emphasized the importance of environmental protection and sustainable development in our time.
The program featured a series of high-quality lectures presented by leading experts in their fields. Among the speakers was Dr. Franz Reinthaler from MedUni Graz, as well as star guest presenter and meteorologist Marcus Wadsak, both of whom thrilled the guests with their contributions. “I am pleased that I can be here as a speaker. At lunchtime, the participants were treated to traditional delicacies in the monastery’s Bräustüberl, which also made the day a culinary experience.
The backdrop of Reichersberg Abbey provided the ideal setting for the exchange of ideas and experiences among the participants. The event was not only a platform for professional exchange, but also an opportunity to promote awareness of environmental responsibility and sustainable practices.
