The countdown to the second semi-final on May 9th is underway
Vienna (OTS) – Exactly a week ago, Kaleen set off with the Austrian delegation to the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö. In addition to the rehearsals in the Malmö Arena and a private rehearsal room, there were numerous interviews, promotional appointments and also a bit of sightseeing on the calendar. Yesterday, on Saturday, May 4th, 2024, Austria’s song contest artist went to Copenhagen, where she performed an acoustic version of her ESC song “We Will Rave” at Nyhavn, one of the Danish capital’s tourist hotspots. The first ten tickets for the grand finale will be awarded on Tuesday, May 7th. In the first semi-final, 15 nations will compete live on ORF 1 from 9 p.m. The “Eurovision Song Contest” will once again be commented on for the ORF audience by Andi Knoll, who with his “Mr. Song Contest proudly presents” also opens the ESC evening at 8:15 p.m. In the first semi-final, only the participating countries as well as Germany, Great Britain and Sweden, which have already qualified for the final, vote. Viewers in Austria can cast their vote for the first time at the second semi-final on May 9th, in which Kaleen, starting number 6, is fighting for a place in the top ten.
