Vienna (OTS) – A total of 37 countries will take part in the “Eurovision Song Contest” in Malmö in May 2024. While six countries – Germany, France, Great Britain, Italy, Spain and last year’s winning country, Sweden – have already qualified, the 31 other nations will compete in the two semi-final shows on Tuesday, May 7th and Thursday, May 9th Move into the final on Saturday, May 11th (live from 9 p.m. on ORF 1). As part of the “Allocation Draw” a draw was held this evening (Tuesday, January 30th) in Malmö to determine which country would start in which half of which semi-final. Austria’s representative Kaleen will sing for a place in the final on Thursday, May 9th in the first half of the second semi-final. The exact starting order will be determined at a later date.
