Platform of the pro-European forces in Austria appeals to use the right to vote in the EU elections on June 9th: “Every vote counts, every vote for a strong Europe makes a difference”
Vienna (OTS) – In the final spurt to the European Parliament election on June 9th, Christoph Leitl, President of the European Movement Austria (EBÖ) – a non-partisan platform of pro-European forces from civil society, politics and business – appeals to all citizens to exercise their democratic right to vote and to send a “clear signal for a strong Europe”. “The challenges that Europe is facing and which, above all, affect the future of young people, can only be solved together.”
Positive future prospects for young people thanks to the EU being able to act
The European elections will set the course for the future of the European Union. “Whether competitiveness, climate change, reducing bureaucracy, a social Europe or international partnerships and sustainable peace solutions: A united, strong and capable Europe can help solve the challenges and threats in all these areas and offer young people a positive future perspective.”

Over the past few months, the EBÖ has worked together with its member organizations in a wide variety of events and formats to strengthen the European idea in the ongoing European election campaign and to motivate citizens to take part in the election. “Every vote counts, every vote for a strong Europe makes a difference!
