The parties are gradually announcing their top candidates for the upcoming EU elections. The Greens are going into the election with climate activist and columnist Lena Schilling as their top candidate EU election. Federal spokesman Werner Kogler presented the 23-year-old on Monday as his suggestion for first place on the list. The SPÖ, ÖVP and FPÖ have already chosen their top candidates for the 2024 EU elections (June 6th to 9th)., they are entering the race with Andreas Schieder, Reinhold Lopatka and Harald Vilimsky respectively. National Council member Helmut Brandstätter has the best prospects for this at NEOS. The Liberal list will be decided at the end of January.
