Babler, Breiteneder and Seltenheim thank SPÖ voters – “We will fight for a social and fair Europe in the next five years”
Vienna (OTS/SK) – SPÖ federal party chairman Andreas Babler and the SPÖ federal managing directors Sandra Breiteneder and Klaus Seltenheim would like to thank everyone today, Sunday, who placed their trust in the SPÖ in the European elections and spoke out for a social and fair Europe. “Together with our five representatives, we will do everything we can in the next five years to make Europe fairer and work for peace and freedom,” says Babler, who emphasizes: “The race to catch up continues. We are around 2 percentage points behind the FPÖ, and we will catch up in the next few months. We will be the first to cross the finish line in the fall. I started to get past the FPÖ. This is the only way we can prevent blue-black. We want to make life affordable again, rebuild our health system, secure good jobs in the future – that takes heart and brain, that’s what the SPÖ needs. We are the alternative and we will turn things around!” said Babler to the SPÖ press service. ***
Breiteneder and Seltenheim emphasize: “We would have liked more and will analyze the result very carefully. Last year we were still under 20 percent in surveys, but now we have stabilized and maintained the result from last time, as well as our mandates.
Babler, Breiteneder and Seltenheim would like to thank the SPÖ candidates for their committed and courageous election campaign and all SPÖ officials, members, employees and supporters who have put a lot of heart and passion into it in the last few months a strong SPÖ fought and ran in Europe: “We are a powerful force – and we will do it. Together we will be the strongest force in the country and make Austria better and fairer with our hearts and minds!” said Babler, Breiteneder and Seltenheim. (Final) ls/mb
