EU Election 24 on ORF Burgenland: Focus on Europe – “Burgenland Today” SPECIAL on May 23, 2024, 6:30 p.m., ORF 2/B

Eisenstadt (OTS) The EU Parliament election will take place in Austria on Sunday, June 9, 2024. Two and a half weeks before this election, ORF Burgenland deals with the European Union and its effects on Burgenland. In a special edition of “Burgenland today” on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. on ORF 2/B, the economic development since joining the EU in 1995 will be analyzed.

The program examines the questions of what the funding has achieved, what the further funding strategy looks like and what importance the EU Parliament has for decisions in Burgenland, what the mood of the population is today after the approval in the 1994 referendum in Burgenland was highest at 74.7%. In addition, the top candidates for the EU elections are portrayed.

In addition to contributions and experts in the studio, a connection to ORF correspondent Raffaela Schaidreiter in Brussels is also planned. The show is moderated by Martin Ganster.
