Kitzbuhel (OTS) – Successful hotels today are increasingly relying on environmentally, socially and economically balanced corporate management. The so-called ESG standards (ESG stands for Environment, Social & Governance) form the basis for sustainable corporate performance in all dimensions.
The Prodinger consultancy, which is experienced in environmental issues, has just prepared a comprehensive ESG report for the renowned Hotel Kitzhof Mountain Design Resort. The report includes five steps: an analysis of the status quo, data processing, the derivation of future ESG measures, the creation of an ESG report in accordance with current guidelines and the integration of ESG metrics into standard management reporting.

The report details how the company protects (or harms) nature, what the company offers its employees and how the company is anchored in the region.
The results of the ESG report for the Hotel Kitzhof Mountain Design Resort show a predominantly positive development of most indicators compared to the previous year. In the relevant peer comparison, the Kitzhof is excellently positioned, particularly in terms of waste management and energy consumption. The company also places a strong focus on employee well-being. This is reflected in high year-round employment, significant monetary benefits and a high diversity rate among managers.
Potential is highlighted in the environmental sector, particularly in energy supply, with recommendations for a timely reduction in dependence on gas as an energy source. The ESG report also suggests greater support for public travel options. In the area of corporate management, the regionality of suppliers is to be further expanded.
The four-star superior Hotel Kitzhof Mountain Design Resort, a member of the renowned “Design Hotels”, is known for its combination of stylish design and traditional ambience. The hotel has 160 rooms, including 38 suites, and offers a wide range of upscale amenities and services, from a large wellness facility to a variety of restaurant areas and extensive event options.
