The EBITDA 1-12/2023 is expected to be in a range of 60 MEUR to 64 MEUR (previous year 1-12/2022: 82.0 MEUR) ^ 1)(.) The group EBIT 1-12/2023 is expected are in a range of 26 MEUR to 30 MEUR (previous year 1-12/2022: 49.4 MEUR) ^ 1)(.) The decline in earnings compared to the previous year results from the Frauenthal Trade division. Despite the continued extremely volatile economic environment and the difficult general conditions (energy crisis, increased raw material prices, production stops by customers), the Frauenthal Automotive division once again achieved results at the same level as the previous year. After an exceptional economic year in 2022 in the construction ancillary sector, the result in the trading division has returned to a normal level, as expected. The decline in earnings results primarily from an increase in the cost of goods sold and thus a decline in the contribution margin in combination with increased costs (especially personnel and infrastructure costs). The net financial liabilities as of December 31, 2023 are expected to be in a range of -77 MEUR to -81 MEUR. This means an improvement of around 8 to 11 MEUR compared to the reporting date of December 31, 2022.
