Vienna (OTS) – In the future, a visit to the imperial Schönbrunn Palace can also be crowned with culinary delights: the Gerstner K. u. K. Hofzuckerbäcker will be there from March with his classic Viennese café-restaurant including shop, brand new, located in the cavalier wing of the castle. The traditional Gerstner brand guarantees first-class cuisine and perfect service. As a selected purveyor to the emperor’s court, the Gerstner K. u. K. Hofzuckerbäcker has been delighting guests from all over the world since 1847. Gerstner has been offering the well-known cakes and exquisite sweets at Schönbrunn Palace in the usual perfection from the first day of opening. The adaptation of the premises will then take place step by step until the end of the year so that the café-restaurant including shop is available to guests at all times.

The company, which also owns the traditional Gerstner brand, is the new tenant of the restaurants in the Kavalierstract and the Meierei. The Gerstner K. u. K. Hofzuckerbäcker, which has long been successfully established in the Vienna Palais Todesco, was able to prevail against strong competition.
