Enghouse Transportation & Public Safety and NKS110 IKS provide new nationwide emergency call systems in Norway

Enghouse Transportation & Public SafetyA leading provider of solutions for public security and emergency calling, and the Norwegian Nasjonalt Kommunesamarbeid for 110-enthusiasm (“NKS110 IKS”) announce the introduction and implementation of the Enghouse Locusemergency OHV (“Leo”) Systems in all 110 emergency call processing centers. The introduction of Leo started at the end of last year and is now fully implemented nationwide.

Leo offers emergency call operators state-of-the-art resource management tools that enable better situation recognition and faster response times in critical situations. The new system sets a high standard for emergency management in Norway. Since the emergency scenarios are becoming increasingly complex, Leo ensures that the 110 emergency call centers are fully equipped to cope with current and future requirements and to improve public security nationwide.

NASJONALT Kommunesamarbeid for 110-enthusiasm (NKS110 IKS) is a unique, national, inter-municipal organization that is responsible for the procurement, implementation, management and operation of a joint incident management tools and other relevant data systems for the fire brigade and rescue emergency call centers in Norway. NKS110 IKS also takes over the procurement of the technical infrastructure and coordinates the joint training for the systems in the 110 emergency call center.
