Ischgl got off to a spectacular start to the 2024/25 winter season with the Top of the Mountain Opening Concert on November 30, 2024. Ellie Goulding thrilled thousands of visitors with a rousing show in front of the impressive mountain backdrop of Ischgl and the Silvretta Arena.
Successful start with pop star Ellie Goulding
The British singer Ellie Goulding provided a special kind of highlight at the “Top of the Mountain Opening Concert”. Known for her unmistakable voice and her powerful stage presence, Goulding inspires millions of fans worldwide and is one of the most successful pop artists of recent years. In Ischgl she presented hits like “Love Me Like You Do” and “Burn” as well as songs from her current album “Higher Than Heaven”. Winter sports and entertainment at the highest level
Ski operations started in the Silvretta Arena on November 28, 2024. At the opening, 110 kilometers of slopes and 30 lifts were open, offering winter sports enthusiasts the best conditions. On today’s concert day, 17,000 enthusiastic guests were in the ski area to experience the ideal piste conditions and the breathtaking scenery of the ski area. The bright sunshine during the day gave the snowy mountain landscape additional shine.
With the appearance of Ellie Goulding and an all-round successful opening weekend, Ischgl underlined its reputation as a top destination for music and winter sports fans. The 2024/25 winter season has set its first highlights with this brilliant start and numerous other highlights await the last day of skiing on May 4, 2025.
