Not a random location, but chosen in such a way that it gives even more emphasis to the fair’s claim, namely “EICMA”. We have been setting an example for 110 years.”
At the meeting with the press, in addition to EICMA President Pietro Meda and CEO Paolo Magri, there were also present Giacomo Agostini, a motorcycle legend, Nico Cereghini, journalist, and Aldo Drudi, designer: three protagonists of the sector who, in turn, have left their mark and continue to do so leave behind. And it was President Meda himself who explained this year’s theme. In the talk show moderated by journalist Federica Masolin, he emphasized: “On the one hand, we want to celebrate the history of the world’s oldest trade fair, on the other hand, we are convinced of the uniqueness and central importance of our event for the industry and enthusiasts: EICMA objectively marks a before and an after with each edition, thanks to the great organizational effort, the response of the public and the commitment of the participating companies.”
Companies continued to show up in large numbers, confirming “the attractiveness and relevance of the EICMA exhibition model”, as Paolo Magri, CEO of the event, said. “Not only that,” added Magri, “in this edition, 26 percent of the exhibitors are coming to EICMA for the first time, 70 percent are international companies from all continents; we will occupy two more pavilions than last year, four more than in 2022. And Then we mark important returns that round off the manufacturers’ entire panorama: a really rich exhibition offering, which is combined with the entertainment, show and special areas we have developed.”
