Ecobat, a worldwide leading company in the area of battery cycling, announced today that it has received a binding offer from Campine NV to take over its battery cycling systems and special leading production systems in France and has approved on this basis to grant Campine NV exclusivity. The planned transaction includes the Ecobat systems in Estrée-Saint-Denis, Bazoches and Pont-Sainte-Maxence, which would retire Ecobat from the French market, with the exception of the area of the area of lithium-ion batteries.

The planned transaction is still subject to the legal information and consultation procedure with the responsible employee representatives and the usual official permits.
